Performance
All new Chevy Traverse models are equipped with the same 3.6-liter V6 engine that delivers an impressive 310 horsepower and 266 pound-feet of torque to power its way through Southfield and beyond. The V6 is paired to a smooth-shifting nine-speed automatic transmission and is able to tow up to 5,00 pounds. All trims are front-wheel drive standard with an option for all-wheel drive.
Safety Features

Some of the driver-assist technologies include:
- Front Pedestrian Braking. If your Chevy Traverse's sensors detect a pedestrian ahead of you, an alert will be issued and brakes applied if necessary to avoid a collision.
- Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert. For those moments when you need to change lanes, your Chevy Traverse will provide an alert to let you know that a vehicle is in your blind zone or may be approaching your blind zone.
- Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning. Your Chevy Traverse can help you stay in your lane by detecting your lane and providing alerts and can even steer you back on course if you appear to be drifting.
- Forward Collision Alert. An alert will be issued if the system detects that a front-end collision appears to be imminent or if you're following a vehicle at an unsafe distance.
- Forward Automatic Braking. The Traverse can automatically apply the brakes to try to avoid a collision and mitigate the severity of an unavoidable collision.

The new Chevy Traverse was built to fit plenty of people and most of their stuff.
